Nigerian human rights lawyer, Malcolm Omoirhobo caused a stir at the Supreme Court, Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday when he appeared in the complete traditional attire of an “Olokun priest” to attend court proceedings.

The lawyer said he was only exercising his fundamental human rights following the judgment of the Supreme Court that allowed all Nigerians to express their way of worship and the use of hijab in schools and public places.

Last Friday, the Supreme Court approved the wearing of hijab to school by female Muslim students in Lagos.
