How Covid-19 Curfew Violators Are Treated Some Countries

Amid a relentless surge in the cases of coronavirus infections and hospitalizations all over the world, coupled with the multiple Covid-19 variants that are circulating globally, the government of different countries have placed stricter COVID-19 Curfew restrictions to control the widespread of the disease.
COVID-19 new variants: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), viruses constantly change through mutation, and new variants of a virus are expected to occur over time like we are currently experiences with the coronavirus pandemic. Though scientists are working to learn more about these variants, we do not know the following:
How widely these new variants have spread
How the new variants differ
How the disease caused by these new variants differs from the disease caused by other variants that are currently circulating

This is why is it imperative to respect the current stay-at-home order that has been implemented to avoid fines and more punishment for Covid-19 lockdown breaches.
Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirmed 102,601 Covid-19 cases, with 19,654 active cases, 81,574 discharged cases and 1,373 deaths, which makes the country the eighth highest ranked African country with registered cases, but nothing compared to other parts of the world like the US, the UK, Brazil, India, Mexico, Germany, Russia, South Africa etc. that are coronavirus hotspot.

Philippines
Philippines recorded the first death outside China with a total of 491,258 Coronavirus cases, 458,172 recovered cases, 25,024 active cases, and over 9,416 deaths. Metro Manila and the entire Luzon island was locked-down by the government.
The law enforcement officers in Pandacaqui, Pampanga province were criticized for using excessive force and humiliation as curfew punishment. There were also accuse for discrimination towards a particular vulnerable group(LGBT) of people after a video was shared all over the internet, where the violators were asked to kiss each other, dance and lie on the floor.
After receiving a public backlash for abuse and discrimination, Curfew violators were given more reasonable punishment to watch Covid-19 documentary and enlighten them more about the disease and why the curfew must be obeyed.

United States
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC) reports 23,369,732 confirmed cases, 13,816,238 recovered cases, and 389,621.
On Oct. 2020, California Governor, Gavin Newsom warned Californians about the second wave of Covid-19 and a month-long curfew took effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Nov. 21th, 2020 through Dec. 21th, 2020.
The restrictions are currently more focused on large gatherings, or groups drinking after hours in bars. Restaurants, bars and non-essential stores are mandated to shut down between the hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

India
The country is the second highest ranked in registered Covid-19 cases after the United States with confirmed cases of 10,495,816, 10,129 recovered cases and 151,564 deaths. In terms of the number of active cases, the US is number one, followed by France, the UK, Brazil and Belgium.
When the people of India violated Covid-19 curfew that was imposed by their Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the early start of the lockdown in 2020, some people were beaten with sticks, asked to sweep the streets, others received 'murga' punishment while some were arrested. An act that enraged the world and the country was criticized for abusing the people.
