Google Doodle Honors Luther Vandross On His 70th Birthday Today

In honor of the late Luther Vandross on what would have been his 70th Birthday today (April 20th), Google has released its latest doodle: an animated video honoring Vandross set to one of his most popular songs, "Never Too Much."

Vandross who was born on April, 20th, 1951 in New York, was a multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Luther Vandross—the “Velvet Voice” whose silky-smooth tenor ballads romanced generations with inimitable style and grace.

Today’s video Doodle, created by Atlanta-based guest artist Sam Bass, salutes the legend whose smooth tenor ballads romanced generations.
