Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo was the founder of one of Nigeria's leading event management companies, Elizabeth R.

She was also the founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation (IIF), a non-profit organization she started to raise awareness about infertility and to provide grants for couples that require fertility treatments such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intrauterine Insemination. We all know Ibidun struggled with infertility issues. She made her struggles known to the public and she later on adopted two beautiful children, Keke and Zenan. Everything has been going well with her since then. She was always full of life. She even posted a happy video of herself and her husband a few weeks ago. How did this happen? Why Ibidun? Why now?

I knew Ibidun back in our modeling years. We just started modeling then. Ibidun Ighodalo, Agnes Inyang Etukeyen and I did a calendar job with renowned photographer, Philip Trimel.

Ibidun and Agnes just got into UNILAG then and I was in LASU. We were so young and we talked about our aspirations. The news of her death broke my heart. I always followed her stories and she was not just beautiful on the outside, she was an angel on the inside.

Gone too soon. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
