Disneyland and Universal Studios to Shut Down For Fear Of Coronavirus

Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Universal Studios, Hollywood to close their doors starting on Saturday 14th, March, 2020 due to fear of the widespread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Paris and Universal Studios in Orlando will be shutting down as well on Monday 15th, March, 2020.
"The Hotels of Disneyland Resort will remain open until Monday, March 16, to give guests the ability to make necessary travel arrangements; Downtown Disney will remain open. We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies. Disney will continue to pay cast members during this time," a spokesman said.
The drastic move arrives as total confirmed cases of coronavirus rise to 127,863 worldwide, with 1,323 in the U.S., per Johns Hopkins University's case tracker of the novel coronavirus.
Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Paris, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando made the announcement on Thursday 12th, March 2020 to shut down for the rest of the month.
