5th Wife of Oba of Benin Gives Birth to Quadruplets

The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II and his fifth wife, Queen (Oloi) Esosa Ewuare, welcomes a set of quadruplets into the royal family.

The people of the old Benin kingdom have been in jubilation since the announcement was made by the Oba in his royal palace while receiving the national leadership of old students of Immaculate Conception College (ICC). Oba Ewuare also gave the sexes of the babies as: three boys and one girl.

He also thanked God Almighty and his ancestors for the quadruple blessings.

Also, the presiding Priest of the oldest worship center in Africa, the Holy Aruosa Cathedral, in Benin, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayers to God for good health, wisdom and guidance for quadruplets, their parents and other members of the Benin royal family.
