President Buhari's Full List of Ministers and Their Proposed Portfolio

Nigeria: President Muhammadu Buhari swore 43 members of his cabinet into office on Wednesday.

In the new list, the president is still the petroleum minister while Timipre Sylva, former Governor of Bayelsa State, is the new Minister of State. He replaced former ExxonMobil executive Emmanuel Kachikwu who was the country’s main representative at OPEC meetings.

The president also appointed Godswill Akpabio as Niger Delta Minister, with Adamu Adamu as Education Minister. Rotimi Ameachi to serve as Transportation.

New Ministries such as ministry of police affairs and ministry of humanitarian services were also created.

Zainab Shasuna Ahmed - Kaduna, Finance, Budget and National Planning.

Geoffrey Onyeama - Enugu, Foreign Affairs.

Timipre Sylva - Petroleum of State.

Festus Keyamo - Delta, Niger Delta, State.

Sen. Omotayo Alasuadura - Ondo, Labour, State.

Osagie Ehanire - Edo, Health.

Abubakar Malami - Kebbi, HAGF and Minister of Justice

5. Sharon Ikeazor – Anambra State – Minister of Environment

6. Adamu Adamu — Bauchi State – Minister of Education

7. Ambassador Maryam Katagum – Bauchi State – Minister of State Industry

8. Timipre Sylva – Bayelsa State – Minister of State for Petroleum

9. George Akume – Benue State – Minister of Special Duties

10. Mustapha Baba Shehuri – Borno State – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

11. Goddy Jedy Agba – Cross River State – Minister of State, Power
