Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day to all Mon's Media readers. We hope you all are celebrating this special day either at the numerous parades taking place today or at the convenience of your home or even at work?
A lot of us had to go to work today but good thing the schools are closed and the students are enjoying this special federal holiday dedicated to the slain civil rights icon - who was only trying to make the world a better place by fostering love.
Since 1986, according to a bill passed by Congress, every third Monday in January of each year is declared MLK Jr. Day.
