Paris: Hundreds of thousand of fans welcome their heroes (French Soccer Team) back home as they parade their World Cup victory down Champs Élysées in Paris.

After defeating Croatia in a score of 4-2 in Moscow on Sunday to win the tournament for the second time in 20 years (1998), France reemerged as the World's Football Champ - a victory that has brought more unity to the people of the country.

They team received a raucous reception at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport before their parade through the capital city. The team country also promised to award them the highest accolade - the Legion d'Honneur.

In an open-top bus, the french football team were driven down the packed avenue in Paris, smiling and waving and holding up the cup as the French air force staged a flypast amid plumes of red, white and blue.

The two time winner of the World cup have been balling since they won the game.
