On Sunday, July 1st, 2018, Lebron James the four-time NBA MVP and three-time league champion decided to join the Los Angeles Lakers within the first 24 hours of NBA free agency, agreeing to a four-year deal worth $154 million.
LeBron took a big leap leaving his Cleveland Cavaliers team to join the Lakers. In 2010, as a free agent, he signed with Miami Heat before returning back to Cavaliers in 2014.
He has been welcomed to the Lakers family and former Laker champion Kobe Bryant has personally welcomed him to LA.
Behold! Lebron is officially a LAKER!!!
