Serena Williams beats sister Venus Williams in Australia to secure the 23rd Grand Slam Win. Serena Williams won the Australian Open Final on Saturday, becoming the only player - man/woman — to win 23 Grand Slam singles titles in the Open Era. “It's such a great feeling to have 23,” Williams said

Serena Williams is now the most decorated champion of the open era. It was the 9th time the sisters met in a grand. Venus herself is a 7 time winner of the grand slam championship.

We are so proud of these sisters regardless of who won or lost. They have both paid their dues.
