Nigeria: In the past couple of weeks, in Southern Kaduna, Nigeria, over 300 christians have reportedly been killed by the Fulani Herdsmen. A babaric act that as sparked a lot of anger and protest from several people including men of God such as Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide.

Learning that he (Johnson Suleiman) was a target too by the herdsmen, Johnson Suleiman advised his church to be prepared to retaliate saying "If Fulani herdsmen are killing Christians and nothing happened, we'll kill them and nothing will happen."

According to the video below, Sulieman explained to his congregation stating that “Somebody called me on phone and asked, ‘Are you alone? I said ‘Yes’. He said: ‘I want to tell you something’ and I said, ‘What is it?’,” Suleiman told his congregation last Sunday.

“He said, ‘There is a plan to send Fulani herdsmen after you and I said ‘Ok’, and the person said I should be careful and I said, ‘Careful for what?’ He said ‘They are just going to run into the road like herdsmen and begin to cause confusion and while your security men clear them and you come out, they will open fire’. Then, I said ‘Okay’.

“After about a week, he called me and said ‘They might bring them around church premises’. I said ‘It’s okay’. And I told my people, any Fulani herdsman you see around, kill him. I have told them in the church here, that any Fulani herdsman that just enters by mistake, should be killed. If they are busy killing Christians and nothing is happening, we will kill them and nothing will happen.”

His comments has attracted criticisms while many are in support of the preacher's decision. However, we learned that the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) attempted to arrest Suleiman on Wednesday, January 25 - in the middle of the night - while in his hotel room in Ado Ekiti. Fortunately for him, Governor Ayodele Fayose came to his rescue and took him to the Ekiti State Government house.

Christians cannot continue to be oppressed and killed senselessly. This is happening almost everyday all around the world. The rate at which these fulani herdsmen have been killing people with impunity, yet nothing drastic is being done by the security agencies is very shameful. Sadly, no arrest has even been made in the attack.

What's going on? How do we stop this without using violence? Even the Pope has intervened pleading for love among Christians and Muslims yet there has not been any change. The situation keeps getting worse.
