Obama Meets with Trump in the Oval Office

For the very first time, President Obama meets with President-elect Donald Trump at the White House. The meeting was held on Thursday in the Oval Office. As expected of both men put their differences aside to have serious discussion.

Obama congratulated him saying "If you succeed, the country succeeds." He also promised to facilitate a transition that ensures the president-elect is successful in during his tenure.

The 45th US President, his Vice President Pence, his wife Melania and his other entourage, were given a tour around the White House by Obama himself.

Trump thanked Obama for the warm reception he received. He also described Obama as "a good man."

It was 90 minute meeting which was originally scheduled to last for only 10 minutes. Some how, they were able to communicate with each and time was not an issue.
