Jermaine Jackson's Wife Files For Divorce After Domestic Violence Arrest

Halima Rashid wife of singer Jermaine Jackson has filed for divorce following a domestic violence arrest.

Rashid, 46, filed court documents on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to divorce papers obtained by PEOPLE. The couple got married in 2004 and have been together for almost twelve years. They had no children together. However, Rashid is asking for spousal support.

Jackson, 61, has nine children from his previous marriage to Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza from 1995 - 2003, and Hazel Gordy from 1973 - 1988.
