Newest Dads! Eddie Murphy, Michael Phelps & Kenneth Okonkwo

May is definitely a fruitful month for most of us! The greatest joy of all is a baby and we have Eddie Murphy, Michael Phelps and Kenneth Okonkwo as the new dads in town.

On Tuesday, 3rd of May, actor Eddie Murphy, 55, and his Australian girlfriend Paige Butcher, 36, welcomed a beautiful daughter, Izzy Oona Murphy. At 19.5 inches long, Izzy weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. The child is Murphy’s ninth child and Paige’s first child. We know the question on your mind? Were the other eight children from the same mother? The answer is NO! They were from four different women. However, the children are very close just like their father wanted and he is very much part of their lives. Eddie and Paige are ecstatic over the birth of their newborn.

Just two days later, Thursday, 5th of May, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and his fiancée Nicole Johnson welcomed a bouncing baby boy named Boomer. Miss Johnson was a former Miss California. The proud father announced the big news on social media with this photo, captioned “Welcome Boomer Robert Phelps into the world!!! Born 5/5/16 healthy and happy! Best feeling I've ever felt in my life!!!”

Popular and well-liked Nigerian actor, Kenneth Okonkwo and his wife, Ifeoma also welcomed a bouncing baby boy after nine years of marriage. Baby Ken, named after his father- was born on Saturday, May 7, at the University of Maryland, St. Joseph Medical Centre. The newborn is Okonkwo’s second child. He has a daughter from a previous marriage to Ogechi, the daughter of Pastor Ezekiel of Christian Pentecostal Mission International. The elated dad said “God is a faithful God. He said we shall be fruitful and multiply, that there shall be none barren in our midst and He just fulfilled His words. To Him be all the glory in Jesus name."
