Angela Raiola best known as 'Big Ang' has finally succumbed to her cancer battle. She died on Thursday at about 3:01a.m. Yesterday, there was a false alarm that the 'Mob Wives' reality star had died. Then, we learned from a representative of her social media account that Ang was still holding on to her life.

Sadly, the worst happened this morning with an update on her Twitter account which read: "It is with sad regret that we inform you that at 3:01 a.m. Angela Raiola peacefully ended her battle with cancer, and was called home. She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and the closest friends. YOU, (her fans) were some of the most special people in the world, and she loved you immensely. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unconditional support of Angela right to the very end."

Big Ang was the life of the show. Despite her long battle with cancer and marital issues, the six-foot tall 'drama queen' was always up beat.

She died in a New York City hospital surrounded by her family and her friends. She was 55.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, entertaining personality and her favorite quote: "I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time!"

RIP Big Ang.
