Former Miss Nigeria Nwando Okwuosa Loses Brother

Former Miss Nigeria Nwando Okwuosa has lost her younger brother Chinedum C Duff Okwuosa. When a new year begins, we all expect the year to be better than the previous one. Sadly, the Okwuosa family, friends and fans are grieving the sudden death of Chinedum C Duff Okwuosa one of Nigeria's most promising artists.

On Wednesday night of January 6th, after leaving a concert, C Duff got on his Power Bike and was involved in a fatal accident in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. His talent, husky voice, intimidating height and his signature beards made him very unique and irrestible. He was a geniune star and an asset in the music industry. He was so good in his game and was rising to the top fast. He was already affiliated with big names in the entertainment industry such as D' banj and several others.

Until C Duff's passing, he was a creative artist, performing musician and energetic young entertainment entrepreneur who had confidence in himself. Born in Ogidi, Anambra, south eastern Nigeria. He was a graduate of creative art at Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka, Nigeria and had just completed his NYSC early last year.

On Thursday, January 14th, Chinedum C Duff Okwuosa was laid to rest in his hometown, Ogidi.

I have cried my eyes out. I could not believe the news. I called my dear friend Nwando to give my condolences. I remember how Chinedum and I used to text each other on Whatsapp. Fearless, he had big dreams and was determined to make them come to pass. His looks was very intimidating, but sense of humor was made him very approachable. We all loved him and was looking forward to him coming to Los Angeles to perform. The originality of his songs made everything about him awesome. He was indeed a born star. No one can question God. "The Lord giveth and taketh away."

You may have slipped out of our hands, but your music lives on. At this time, the family wishes for everyone to respect their privacy as the mourn. Please keep the Okwuosa family in your prayers. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Nwando and your entire family.

Farewell Chinedum C Duff Okwuosa. You will be greatly missed and always be remembered. He is survived by his parents, brother, sisters, nephews and nieces.
