Steve Harvey Accidentally Crowns Wrong Winner At Miss Universe 2015

On Sunday, December 20th, the Miss Universe 2015 pageant took place in Las Vegas. The 64th Annual pageant, hosted by renowned comedian, television host, radio personality, actor, and author Steve Harvey was going smoothly, until the last two minutes when a monumental mistake occurred.

Harvey mistakenly announced the Miss Colombia as the 2015 Miss Universe winner, she was crowned, and took her walk around the stage. Only to find out at the last minute that Miss Philippines was the true winner.

Steve had to quickly rectify the blunder by apologizing to the audience and Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, - the rightful queen- was announced as the 2015 Miss Universe.

However, he took full responsibility live on the air, and you've got to feel awful for all parties involved in what was surely the worst blunder in televised pageant history... but you've also got to admit that watching that crown get transferred from Miss Colombia to Miss Philippines was far more riveting than any Miss Universe in recent memory.

As humans, we all make mistakes, but one thing is for sure, this is a blessing in disguised for Miss Columbia. Who would have known her? I don't even know last year's Miss Universe. Miss Columbia's dissapointed has made her very famous. A lot of endorsement will follow after this because we all love stories like this. The Cinderella kind of story. What happened to her is sad though, but success come in different ways. We all have different stories. Her's has just taken off in a very dramatic way that will force every door to open for her. She will make fortune from this if she plays her cards well. Starting with a book! Wink* Lol!
