Muslim schoolgirl, Isra Mohammed, has become the new social media sweetheart for speaking out on Islamophobia after her little sister was blamed for the Paris terrorist attacks. Isra, 15, gave the five-minute assembly to all 1,900 pupils at Kenton School in Newcastle explaining how her religion is one of peace. Amazingly, this video has gone viral because it is the truth. It's unfair when people generalize on disturbing issues like terrorist attacks. The brainy GCSE student, who hopes to become a doctor like her father, has now been asked to repeat the talk at other schools. In her speech, she explained: "I have a seven-year-old sister who came home from school crying, when I asked why she said people in school were blaming her for the Paris attacks, she said that she didn't want to go back."
'Islam is not the face of terrorism and Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism' Isra added.

We hope people learn from this teenager's speech and change their attitude. There will always be bad people in our midst, but that doesn't mean we should start labelling innocent people. It's hurtful.
