Davido Robbed In South Africa

Nigerian singer Davido and his crew were recently robbed in South Africa. This happened just days after he released his new song titled "The Money" in which he featured another popular Nigerian rapper, Olamide.

The robbers got very lucky, took away the singer's $55,000 including two of his Rolex watches, but, thank God the robbers did not harm them. They probably knew who he was and they love what he does.

To give thanks to God for saving his life, he wrote on his Twitter account: "Thank God for my life.... If not for him.. E for be different story ... My daughters face was flashing through my eyes the whole time....

Despite the horrible experience, Davido's love for the country is undaunted. He wrote, "Still got love for South Africa,

"Dem n****s got me for 55 thousand dollars cash !! Crazy!!!

"And 2 rolexes !!...."

That music video was something else! They did a great job. However, with the way dollars was flying in the air, this was bound to happen. It's most likely a set-up, but who cares? He is alive, him and his team were not injured.

We hope he learns from this and takes more precaution next time. You only know what's on your mind, not someone else's.
