The Edo Association of Southern California Inc. (NEDOYE), a non-profit 501(c) organization has been given the honor to host the 2015 ENAW convention! The three-day event is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Edo cultural heritage among all Edo indigenes in diaspora,particularly in Southern Califonia, and in Edo State Nigeria.
The national body, Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW) is the umbralla organization for all the local Edo associations all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. The convention is an annual event with convergence of all Edo people to promote our culture, collaborate with our brothers and sistes all over the world as well as showcase Edo cultural heritage, dances and ways of life while bettering the life of Edos in Nigeria and diaspora.
It is a non-profit 501(c) organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Edo cultural heritage among all Edo indigenes in diaspora and in Edo State, Nigeria. This year's convention theme is, "Healthcare Improvement and Sustainability in Edo State: A Vital Necessity". The keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Ugbodaga, Permanent Secretary, Edo State Ministry of Health. It is a RED-CARPET fund raising event and all donations are tax deductible.

For those of you who need to renew your expired Nigerian Passport, you need not worry about mailing your passports to Washington, Atlanta or New York. The ENAW Association has made arrangement to bring the Nigerian Passport Office to Los Angeles during the convention. The Nigerian Embassy will be at the ENAW convention coming up Sept. 4-6, 2015 at the LAX Westin Hotel. Please see attached flyer for details. They will by at the hotel renewing passports from Thursday September 3, to Saturday September 5, 2015.
The convention is going to be awesome, don't miss out! Everybody interesting in the Nigerian culture and traditional is welcome. You will learn a lot of new things from powerful speeches by dignitaries from Nigeria to entertainment for all ages.
