Governor Adams Oshiomole Rectifies Misconception About His Wife's Nationality

As you already know, governor Adams Oshiomole and Lara Fortes are officially man and wife. However, there has been so many speculations revolving around his wife's nationality. We were even misinformed that she was an ethiopian too.

Well, the governor who has been following stories written about him and his newly wedded wife, Lara, noticed that a lot of people do not really know her nationality.

"I have seen a lot of publications, some saying that she is Philippine, Dutch and several others, but she is from Cape Verde. And that is part of West Africa. And I hope that will rest the debate of where she is from,” said Oshiomole to PM News.

If you recall, the governor's statement in the wedding invitation, it read: "While looking forward to the your distinguised presence, I sincerely crave your pardon for the rather short notice."

The news of the wedding came out of the blue and everyone interested in the story, had to get as much information as possible about the lucky lady.

So the record is straight now. Mrs. Lara Oshiomole is from Cape Verde not Ethiopia.
