Did you all watch the fight tonight? It was nerve racking. We couldn't sit still. Floyd Maywheather Jr. defeated Manny Pacquiao by 4 points. Whew! That was a close one.
At the beginning of the fight, Floyd walked into the ring looking sweaty and very mellow. It was almost as if he was scared or he was probably saying in his head "tonight, I am sticking to my gun." He was definitely the smarter fighter. You could tell he had studied his opponents strategies which is what true champions should always do. He knew he was the Champion and that he would be attacked aggresively.
Pacquiao who walked looking more confident than Floyd, was more aggressive and had better stamina. He went in there to fight, but Floyd went in there to win. Pacquiao seemed to be more energetic and as the rounds went by, he kept up with his punches and jabs relentlessly. However, he lost most of those punches while Floyd who was more calculated and predictive of his opponents move, got most of his punches.
At the end of the fight, Floyd outpointed Paquiao by a 12 round unanimous decision. He took control of the ring and may Pacquiao walk towards him throughout the fight.
Both boxers did a great job tonight. Pacquiao was without question a very strong competitor. He even taught he won the fight. "He didn't do anything," he said “I was very surprised by the scores. I hit him many times more than he hit me.”
I love Pacquiao. He is a noble man and very humble. We learned he even paid for the people in Mexico to be able to watch the fight on their TVs. What a big hearted guy? He is one of the greatest boxers that the world has ever produced. However, we are team Floyd "Money" Mayweather for life!!!. I have never wanted him to win so badly. We hope he keeps the record as it is and remain "the undefeated champion of all time."
The World Welterweight Championship was held on Saturday, May 2, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The undefeated Floyd Mayweather remains the King of the ring!
