It's Official: Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Are Divorced

American-Canadian singer Robin Thicke and actress Paula Patton have officially finalized their divorce citing "Irreconciliable differences."

The split is effective April 14, but for now, they just have to wait.

The former high school sweethearts got married in 2005 and were blessed with 4-year-old son, Julian.

The couple went their separate ways in February 2014 after Patton found out about Thick's infidelity.

On October 2014, Patton, 39, went ahead and filed for divorce.

"We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," the pair said in a joint statement.

Thick, 38, who somehow insinuated that he did cheat on Patton, said he wasn't being an honest person and that was why the marriage did not work.

He also disclosed that he was not sober during a single interview in 2013 — the year "Blurred Lines" made waves on the radio (which he admitted to recording while he was "high on Vicodin and alcohol") —and that his lack of sobriety also led to the end of his marriage.

This is so sad though. They looked good together. Hopefully, Thick gets himself together and wins Patton's heart back.
