Harrison Ford In Plane Crash: Actor Seriously Injured

Breaking News: Actor Harrison Ford suffered gashes to the head after a small plane he was piloting crash landed at an L.A. golf course Thursday, TMZ reported.

According to the gossip website, Ford, 72, was piloting a vintage 2-seater plane when something apparently went wrong and it crashed-landed about 4:30 p.m. into Penmar golf course in Venice, California.

Though, Ford has been flying air planes for many years and he's a respectable pilot. He has crashed planes before with minimal injuries.

The Chicago-born actor was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but the victim's information has not been released yet by the LAPD.

Eyewitnesses said Ford was rescued from the wreck by employees of the golf course before emergency personnel arrived at the scene. He was the only one aboard the aircraft.
