Missouri baby Alyssa Bailey is a few months ahead of schedule compared to most babies, at least in the dental department.

She was born three days after Christmas, mother and baby are perfectly healthy, but Alyssa unlike every normal babies was with two bottom row front teeth already in. Though doctors and nurses were surprised, the discory made them all smile at Mercy Hospital Springfield where Alyssa was born.
"Right when she first arrived everybody was just shocked," said Jaklina Bailey, Alyssa's mother. "Just like, 'she has two front teeth? No kidding? Really?' It was just a big talk about it, you know, in the delivery room." According to ABC 7, Doctors say there's no problem, but the parents should keep watch. If the teeth came loose and fell out, they could be a choking hazard. While this occurrence is rare, it's not unheard of. One in every 2,000 to 3,000 babies may be born with teeth already in.
