It's A Boy!!! Tyler Perry and Long Time Girlfriend Welcomes Son Aman Tyler

Congratulations to Tyler Perry and his girlfriend, model and activist Gelila Bekele on their new baby!!! On Sunday, November 30, the lovebirds welcomed a bouncing baby boy, Aman Tyler Perry. Now I know everybody is interested in knowing what the name represents. Aman means peace and represents “the true meaning of Thanksgiving and then, of course, the holiday season.”

The news of Bekele's pregnancy was publicized in September and ever since then, we all have been waiting for this special moment. The sex of the baby was also accidently mentioned by excited Bekele in an interview. "This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities, who they are, to shepherd and usher him ... I said 'him' ... Oops!"

Perry, 45, is an American actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, producer, author, and songwriter, specializing in the gospel genre. Bekele is his girlfriend of many years.

The proud father had said he was going to adjust his busy schedules for his new project as a father."I slowed down on film for a while and I'm just working on television," he said, "which allows me time to be home and slow things down, which is very important right now."

According to PEOPLE, "Mom and baby are happy and healthy. Tyler is so excited."
