Chizoba Ejike Wins The 2014 Miss Independence Anambra Pageant

Beautiful Chizoba Ejike becomes the new crowned queen of the maiden edition of the 2014 Miss Independence Anambra Pageant. Representing the Millenium, she beat 19 other contestant to the title.

The grand finale of the pageant was held on Saturday, October 31 in Anambra with many notable faces in attendance such as: Mr Nworah (Creator of the pageant), Nwando Okwuosa (former Miss Nigeria), Chinenye Ochuba Akinlade (former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria), Actor - turned- politician Bob Manuel, Commission Obi Nwakwo (Science and Technology), Mr Tony Onyima (Commissioner of Information, Culture & Tourism Anambra State), Nigerian radio personality Olisa Adibua, Okey Bakassi (Nigerian actor-comedian), to mention a few.

The event kicked off at the stated time, witnesses at the pageant said the show went well as they were promised and there was a huge turnout of people.

To spice things up, the organizers of the pageant, added some side attractions to the event. With the likes of DJINEE, Slow Dod and Omega-inspired gracing the stage and setting the audience ablaze. This was very important because the beauty pageant itself was a stiff competition. With Nwando Okwuosa as the pageant consultant, the contestant were carefully selected based on their intellects, good will, their ability to articulate their thoughts (inner beauty), as well as their physical attributes (outward beauty).
