The Plot of The Movie:
Colin Evans (Idris Elba) is denied parole, five years into serving a prison term for manslaughter, having killed a man and five women. However, he escapes while being returned to prison, shooting a guard and driver in the process.
He is on the loose and as fate would have it, he decides to seek help at Terri's house.
Terri (Taraji P. Henson), a devoted wife and mother of two, lives an ideal life that takes a dramatic turn when her home and children are threatened by Colin, a charming stranger who smooth-talks his way into her house, claiming car trouble. The unexpected invitation leaves her and her family terrorized and fighting for survival.
Yay!!! I am seeing this movie today!!! I have been waiting for its' release in theaters. I saw the preview and instantly fell in love with the storyline. I love Idris Elba and Taraji Henson.
I never knew Elba and Taraji were this talented. Black actors should be given more vast roles like this in movies. You don't have to always play the role of a black man or black a woman. Let's take the idea of sterotyping off of our minds and encourage actors to give their very best just like Idris Elba did in this movie.
